Ponendo se stesso alla guida dell’azienda più assistita (a spese dei contribuenti) della storia d’Italia? Perché – qualcuno lo dica al Presidente del Consiglio – questo è quanto la partitocrazia fa da sempre, contro il mercato, contro la concorrenza e, soprattutto, contro i lavoratori: parcheggiati in cassa integrazione, poi messi in mobilità, poi espulsi dal mercato (legale) del lavoro con i prepensionamenti.

E Montezemolo e Marchionne, che oggi dicono di non aver ricevuto aiuti, non ricordano l’assalto a Prodi del gennaio 2007 per avere la mobilità lunga (“il governo si deve dare una mossa per aiutarci”, dissero)? E se già sapevano – come sapevano - che Termini Imerese andava chiusa perché fuori mercato, per quale ragione questi signori hanno siglato l’accordo di programma dell’aprile 2008, che prevedeva la produzione di un nuovo modello di auto nello stabilimento siciliano (per il quale sono stati predisposti ulteriori generosi aiuti pubblici)? Accordo in seguito al quale i lavoratori di Termini svolsero nel luglio dello stesso anno un corso di formazione di tre settimane, pagato anche con denaro pubblico, per poi non fare… niente.

Mentre tutti fanno i finti tonti e molti proclami, suggeriamo di riflettere su una ricetta semplice semplice (in Gran Bretagna l’hanno applicata alla Rover, lasciando fallire un’azienda decotta e aiutando direttamente i lavoratori): l’impresa che si deve ristrutturare, sia libera di farlo, e stia sul mercato – se ne è capace – giocando secondo le regole del mercato e della concorrenza. Lo Stato difenda non i posti di lavoro in astratto (ossia le grandi imprese!), ma i lavoratori, con riforme strutturali che prevedano ammortizzatori sociali universali e politiche di welfare to work.
